Our story

Born on the road. Made in Margaret River.

LilyMark Studio started with a goodbye, a kookaburra and a small square of engraving on the back of a pendant.

  1. Chapter one

    Two backpacks, one long road

Around ten years ago we arrived in Australia as backpackers — one of us from France, one from Wales — with not much more than our packs and a shared sense of wonder at the place we had landed in.

  2. Chapter two

    Australia became home

The road eventually stopped moving. Australia became home, and Margaret River became the place we built our life: the coast, the karri trees, the birds that wake you far too early.

  3. Chapter three

    A farewell gift

LilyMark began with a present for a dear friend leaving Australia after five years. We made her a Kookaburra pendant with a hidden QR on the back, linking to the memories we had all shared — Byron Bay, Noosa, Fremantle.

  4. Chapter four

    Her reaction changed everything

Watching her open it showed us that a piece of jewellery could carry far more than an engraving. It could carry the people, the places and the years behind it.

  5. Today

    Wearable time capsules

From our small studio we now make Keepsafes — personalised pieces inspired by Australia, with an optional discreet QR on the reverse that holds the memories you choose to keep with you.

Some moments deserve more than a camera roll.
